Privacy Policy

BidSource is operated by JM Strategic Solutions LLC (“JMSS”, “we”), 13732 Wyandotte Place, Fishers, IN 46038. This policy explains what we collect when you use BidSource and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, company name, logo, and business profile you enter during onboarding.
• Documents you upload: statements of work and other solicitation files, and the analysis we produce from them.
• Subcontractor data: public business listings (name, address, phone, website) and business email addresses found for subcontractors near your projects, plus the drafts you send them.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Mailbox connection: if you connect Gmail or Outlook, an encrypted access token and your email address (see below).

Connecting Gmail or Outlook

BidSource asks only for permission to send email on your behalf (Google scope gmail.send; Microsoft permission Mail.Send), plus your email address so we can show which mailbox is connected. We cannot read, search, delete or modify the messages in your mailbox.

We use this permission only to send the subcontractor outreach emails you create or approve in BidSource, from your address, to the recipients shown to you. Tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, or revoke access from your Google or Microsoft account security page.

BidSource’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, do not use it to train AI models, and do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or where required by law.

How we use information

To run the service: analyzing your SOWs, building your subcontractor PDFs, finding and contacting subcontractors, billing, and support. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We rely on providers that process data for us under their own security terms: Supabase (database and login), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (document analysis; not used to train their models), Google Maps Platform (business search), Hunter.io (finding business email addresses), and Stripe (payments).

Emails to subcontractors

Every outreach email includes an unsubscribe link. Anyone who unsubscribes is added to a suppression list and will not be emailed through BidSource again.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is open. Email joey@jmstrategicsolutions.com to delete your account, and we will remove your data within 30 days, except records we must keep for billing or legal reasons.
